About Radha Raman Temple

Sri Radha Raman Mandir or Sri Radha Raman Temple, is an early current period Hindu temple in Vrindavan, India committed to Master Krishna as Radha Ramana. It was built at the demand of Gopala Bhatta Goswami at around 1542 AD.This temple is among the 7 sanctuaries of Thakur of Vrindavan including Sri Radhavallabh ji, Shri Bankey Bihari Ji, Shri Govind Dev ji and three others. The sanctuary is dazzlingly created and a standout amongst the most venerated temples in Vrindavan, particularly by the devotees of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. It houses the first shaligram god of Krishna close by Radharani.

Radha Raman implies the admirer of Srimati Radha. The temple was set up more than 500 years back by Gopala Bhatta Goswami. At thirty years old, Gopala Bhatta Gosvami came to Vrindavana. After Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's vanishing Gopala Bhatta Gosvami felt extraordinary partition from the Master. To ease his aficionado from the strings of partition, the Ruler trained Gopala Bhatta in a fantasy "In the event that you need my darshan at that point make an excursion to Nepal".
